Friends,

In April 2023, we will celebrate 70 years of ministry in this building. While society marks the change of years as January 1st, the church marks the new year on Advent 1, which is November 27th this year. We mark our new year with Advent Sunday because of how it renews our hope and grounds our witness to the new life we sit in anticipation of at Christ’s second coming. Advent is a beautiful season to kick off our 70th jubilee together, and this year we will do it in style.

Join me, as you can, on November 27th from 4pm-6pm with friends and family from around the diocese- including Bishop John, as we spend time growing community together with a standing reception, pray over and bless with song our new outdoor advent wreath, and make our own wreaths to take home with us.Our party starts at 4pm with a standing reception, followed by the wreath lighting at 430, and wreath making and nibbles to follow.

All are welcome!

No previous experience is required!
